DW293 Wireless mirror monitor kits
The mirror monitor has always been a popular option as it is the natural place you look to see what is behind you. Compared to mirror monitors some years back these use brighter LCD panels with a higher resolution. They act as a mirror when the monitor is not on, but the image especially in winter is fairly dull - similar to when the dip lever is operated if you remember those. With mirror monitors you can find they block the signal to the vehicle radio if the aerial is at the same level at the front of the vehicle. A lot depends on the quality of the aerial and the route chosen to run the aerial cable. The mirror monitor is normally hard wired in and left in the vehicle. We know some people do remove them as we have several repairs to do every year to replace the glass when the monitor has been dropped.
