This matches a 7 inch clip over mirror mount monitor with with our modern CMOS number plate reversing camera. The monitor uses a 60m digital wireless receiver which matched the 60m transmitter for the camera. The CAM103 supplied with this kit is ideal for mounting in the number plate area. It is a very wide angled camera so apart from covering the rear of the vehicle for reversing it will see back down the road. Being wide angled vehicles following will look to be much further away than they really are. The camera is extremely reliable and has good resistance to corrosion. The big disadvantage of cameras mounted low down is they do not see the corners of the vehicle. Some models of motorhome do have these cameras mounted high up which gets around this issue.
The monitor is normally hard wired in and comes with a 3m lead that extends to the power and connector for he receiver. The camera has a short lead to the transmitter, but there is the option to add an extension lead if required. This might be useful if you are using it on a trailer with a lot of thick steel as moving the transmitter will improve reception.
