This system uses our MON5001 5" re ar view monitor with our popular CAM103 number plate reversing camera. The addition of the 60m wireless bridge converts this into a digital wireless system giving interference free reception. The monitor has the option of adding either a stand style bracket or a suction mount. The number plate camera has one of our widest viewing angles at 150 degrees. Normally this would give a distorted "fisheye effect", but a special compound glass lens reduces this. The camera has IR LEDs to illuminate the area behind the vehicle which together with the vehicle lights ensures good night vision in black and white. During the day you get a sharp colour image. It is one of the few cameras that are used for reversing that will also give a view back down the road.
There is the option to purchase extension leads for both the transmitter and receiver so you can locate the boxes in more appropriate areas. For example having an aerial close to thick steel can absorb a lot of signal. The transmitter and receiver can then be moved away from that to improve the signal. We find though that the signal is strong enough to go from a car to a caravan even if they are on opposite sides of a building.
