The Ford Custom dual lens camera comes in 2 types depending on the age of the vehicle. The early models used a bulb for illumination and the late ofne used LEDs. You can select which version using the drop down menu. The camera uses the lastest 700 TVL CMOS sensor giving a good colour image during the day. At night the reversing lens has IR LEDs to illuminate the area behind the van. This will give a good black and white image especially if there is additional lighting from street lights. The rear facing lens is for always on use. At night you will get a usable black and white image as long as there is background illumination. The brake light cameras are popular as no holes need to be drilled in the vehicle.
