This is the latest AHD technology giving a sharp colour day view and improved night vision. This listing is for version 1 of the brake light camera. This version is fitted by nuts at the back of the camera (we call it the bolt version). With a 1080P AHD sensor this gives a sharper colour image during the day and an improved night vision aided by the IR LEDs and vehicle lights. It will give a view across the full width of the vehicle plus a little more either side.
Note about versions
Version 1 fits the older models where the brake light is fixed using nuts fastened from inside the van. Version 2 is the more modern one fixed by screws from the front. Both are exactly the same size, but version one needs the brass lugs removed to fit on a more modern van (plus lots of nuts as you are guaranteed to drop some).
