This is the first generation of AHD rear view mirror monitor that we decided to stock, we have reduced the price from £150 to £114 (the same price we sell our standard definition model for) since we now stock V2. It has the advantage of a high-brightness colour LCD panel offering a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It has 2 hybrid AHD AV channels, although to get the best out of the monitor it should be used with AHD cameras. The clarity and colour of this monitor is a considerable improvement on our normal CVBS monitor. Matched with an AHD camera it will give a good day view and at night a very useable image. It tends to give a lot less glare at night so is less of a distraction. One comment often made about our standard CVBS systems is the day view can be obscured by the reflective nature of the glass front. With this monitor, it has a brighter image which makes it easily visible in even the brightest cab.
