This matches a 700TVL Fiat Ducato brake light reversing camera to our popular MON293 clip on mirror rear view monitor. The camera has a wide angle to give a view across the complete rear of the van. The 700 TVL sensor will give a crisp clear image on the high resolution monitor. It can be wired in to come on automatically when reverse it selected or you can manual turn it on when required using the on/off button. The images on the brake light camera category page introduction were from this camera. As it replaces the existing brake light no holes need to be drilled in the van.
The brake light camera has both screw and bolt type fixings. Earlier Ducatos need the bolt fastening and later ones the screw.
We do have mirror monitors with metal brackets to fit the existing mounting plate on the window. These systems are listed in the vehicle specific section. We now also stock a dual lens version of this camera which is in a separate listing.
This camera is also compatible with the Citroen Relay (2006+), Peugeot Boxer (2006+) and Vauxhall Movano (2022+)
On all of our reversing camera systems we have a wide variety of cable and power options. The information below shows you what each option means.
5m 7.5m 10m 12.5m 15m 20m
These are our standard 4 pin extension cables. These options allow you to select what length you need. They are listed in metres, to get the length in feet simply multiply by 3 to change. Having longer than you need will not affect the picture, any extra cable should be coiled loosely where it cannot get damaged.
10M 8mm link, 12.5M 8mm link, 15M 8mm link
These are our 12.5m or 15m cables with an 8mm link at the front of the cable - designed to disconnect to help running through any tight gaps, then reconnected at the end of the install once you are next to the monitor.
Lighter plug
A lighter plug is a useful aid to testing as system before you fit it. Some people will run their system off a lighter plug instead of hard wiring it in.
Bailey adaptor
We do an adaptor to fit the Waeco cables that are pre-installed in Bailey Motorhomes. It converts their cable into our standard 4 pin ones. We have single camera and dual camera versions.
Stand style bracket
This is useful on our HD series of monitors where a curved dash makes mounting the U-bracket difficult. It also makes it faster and easier to remove the monitor.
Easy wire fuse tap a.k.a "piggyback fuse holders"
These can be used to take power from the fuse board. The earth should be to a point where there is bare metal to the vehicle body. The cable is about 2M long and terminates in a 2.1mm/5.5mm power plug, which fits in to the corresponding socket on the monitor wiring. We stock these in different blade sizes, please select the type of fuse tap that is fitted to your fusebox.
