This matches our top 7 inch rear view monitor with our 700TVL number plate camera. It is a popular combination for pickup trucks and some vans. This design of number plate camera has a poor reputation for allowing water to get into the camera. This is because the case is usually made from plastic and the design of it means they are hard to form a seal due to the softness of the plastic. Our version of the camera is made by one of the best known reversing camera manufacturers in China. It uses a metal casing which give it excellent resistance to water ingress. The only issues we have had with this camera is from fitting issues - usually crushed cables.
The camera uses a modern 600TVL CMOS 1/3 inch sensor. These are as good as the CCD sensors which are slowly being discontinued by the manufacturers. It has been matched with a high quality aspheric lens to reduce the "fish eye" effect that wide angled cameras produce. The high power IR LEDs give it good night vision in areas where there is low light, aided by the vehicle lights. The day view has good colour reproduction where the image consists of a balance of colours. If you are reversing up to a hedge then like almost all reversing cameras you can lose the greens as the auto white balance struggles. The 4 pin connector makes a waterproof joint which makes fitting to vehicles easy as you can run the cable along the chassis without the need to bring it inside. Sometimes the camera has sound and sometimes it is without. If sound is important then please check with us.
We have the option to add a stand style bracket. These are useful if you have a curved dash that the U-bracket will struggle to fit. It is easy to remove the monitor from the stand style bracket as you just need to loosen the locking knob. You can then disconnect the monitor and store it off the dash somewhere more secure.

We offer three delivery options during checkout (for larger consignments, two options will be available):

DPD 2-Day Delivery – For both small and large orders. Your parcel will be delivered by DPD Local within two working days (if ordered before 12:30PM).

Highlands and Islands UK Shipping
We provide a 2-3 day delivery service via Royal Mail or Parcel Force, depending on the size of the order. The cost remains the same as mainland UK delivery. Smaller orders are sent via Royal Mail, while larger items are sent with Parcel Force.
International Shipping
For European deliveries, we select the best carrier for each destination, avoiding budget couriers known for parcel losses. Orders to Southern Ireland are always sent via DPD, while other countries are generally served by Parcel Force, UPS, or FedEx. Please ensure you provide a phone number for international shipments. If you’re ordering from a business in Europe, including your VAT or EORI number can help speed up the customs process.
When shipping outside of the UK, we automatically remove VAT (Tax) from the price at checkout, so all prices will appear without UK VAT once a non-UK country is selected. If you’re ordering from the Channel Islands, be sure to select Jersey or Guernsey to ensure UK sales tax is removed.
