This reversing camera uses the latest 700 TVL image sensor. It is a PAL format camera using a 1/3" colour CMOS sensor. These latest CMOS sensors give an image equal to the older CCD sensors. It has a wide viewing angle of 150 degrees which is ideal if used in the number plate area- In this position it is usually mounted up where the number plate lights are with the bolt facing upwards. It can also be mounted up high with the bolt facing down. They are common on vans and we had these made so they can replace the reversing cameras supplied by Veba. There is a trigger wire to change the camera between bolt up and bolt down modes. The composite glass lens has filters to reduce interference from IR and UV light.
