We have these on offer as they are old stock. We bought them a little while ago, but the box got hidden by numerous other boxes in the warehouse. We are having a clear out so these have been listed at very good discount. They use a Sharp CCD sensor at 420 TV lines. The high quality glass lens though gives a very clear image on our monitors. They have IR LEDs to give night vision and the design of the camera separates these from the camera lens to reduce glare. Unusually they have a heater to allow their use in cold weather which means the motor mechanism will not freeze. When the monitor is not powered up the camera rotates to protect the lens behind the cover. When it is powered up the camera rotates to give a view back down the road. When you go into reverse the camera rotates to give a view across the rear of the vehicle. The 120 degree lens should give a view of around 10 foot width at 7 foot high. The camera is waterproof to IP69K and has a microphone for sound if you monitor is compatible. The wiring requires connection to an always on 12V, the reversing light and a 12v supplied by the ignition. The signal goes to the monitor via standard RCA cables.
The photograph above shows the typical way the camera is wired in to the monitor. The always on power draws just 1 milliamp acting as a trigger only. It is powered to a constant 12v with the earth going to an earthing point on the body (not battery). When the ignition is turned on the camera rotates round from the protection of the shutter going to the rear view position. When you go into reverse the camera rotates round to look downwards to view the area close to the bumper. When you go out of reverse it will rotate back to the rear view position. When you turn the ignition off the camera will park with the lens facing inwards under the protection of the cover.

UK Mainland Shipping
We offer three delivery options during checkout (for larger consignments, two options will be available):
Royal Mail Tracked – For smaller or lighter orders, sent via Royal Mail’s Tracked Service. You'll receive email and SMS notifications with tracking updates. This option won’t be available for heavier orders.
DPD 2-Day Delivery – For both small and large orders. Your parcel will be delivered by DPD Local within two working days (if ordered before 12:30PM).
DPD Next-Day Delivery – For both small and large orders. Your parcel will be delivered by DPD Local the next working day (if ordered before 12:30PM).
Highlands and Islands UK Shipping
We provide a 2-3 day delivery service via Royal Mail or Parcel Force, depending on the size of the order. The cost remains the same as mainland UK delivery. Smaller orders are sent via Royal Mail, while larger items are sent with Parcel Force.
International Shipping
For European deliveries, we select the best carrier for each destination, avoiding budget couriers known for parcel losses. Orders to Southern Ireland are always sent via DPD, while other countries are generally served by Parcel Force, UPS, or FedEx. Please ensure you provide a phone number for international shipments. If you’re ordering from a business in Europe, including your VAT or EORI number can help speed up the customs process.
When shipping outside of the UK, we automatically remove VAT (Tax) from the price at checkout, so all prices will appear without UK VAT once a non-UK country is selected. If you’re ordering from the Channel Islands, be sure to select Jersey or Guernsey to ensure UK sales tax is removed.
