The CAM529 is one of the modern CMOS reversing cameras that gives almost CCD performance. At 700 TVL it gives a sharp colour image during the day. Although it lacks IR LEDs it will give a black and white picture at night in good street lighting or if you have good reversing lights. On small cameras it is not possible to add a IR cut filter so not having IR LEDs mens the colours are good. Normally cameras without IR cut will give purple grass! The camera has trigger wires to enable grid lines and to change the view from mirror image to normal. Cameras for reversing need to be mirror image whereas cameras for forward view need to be a normal image. The clip on mirror monitor gives a 800 x 480 pixel display using a nive bright LCD panel.
