This small CMOS reversing camera is ideal for mounting in the number plate area or higher up angled down for reversing. It is one of the new generation of high resolution CMOS sensors that perform as well as cameras that use a CCD sensor. It gives a 700 TVL image and uses a composite glass lens. You can often find this design that use the cheaper plastic lenses, but those tend to mist over time as UV light affects the plastic. The sensor used is the PC4089 1/3" CMOS sensor, which is found in many of our better quality CMOS reversing cameras. We had these cameras made with the option of grid lines or a normal camera view so it can be used as a forward facing camera.
We have these available with either RCA connectors or 4 pin aviation. The drop down menu allows you to select.
We are currently working on a video to show the camera off. It is in an very early stage of editting. The link to the video is:- https://youtu.be/mUsDep-qCck
It may not display if you you Firefox web browser. It works fine in Microsoft Edge
It has clips where it is mounted at number plate level of a car and high up on a Boxer van. It shows the connector options and the grid lines and normal view trigger wires. The night time view is also shown. The one clip is recorded off a monitor showing the camera set to normal view when we tried parallel parking. We will be updating it over the week.
