This reversing camera is for the Mercedes Vito with tail lift from 2016. It replaces the existing brake light and means no holes need to be drilled to fit a reversing camera. It uses a PC4089 700 TVL CMOS sensor, giving a colour high resolution image during the day. At night it gives a useable image with the assistance of street lighting and the vehicle lights. The camera has a quoted 170 degree viewing angle, but we feel it is much closer to 150 degrees. It will give the complete width of the van plus a little extra either side. The camera uses a high quality glass lens for long term reliability (plastic ones tend to discolour).
The camera is supplied with a short fly lead to a 4 pin aviation connector. There is the option to buy a 4 pin extension cable using the drop down menu. If being used with a after market head unit then there is also an option buy buy a 4 pin to RCA connector adaptor.
