The twin lens camera has been improved over the years and the AHD version now brings sharper colour day images and an improved night vision. With its stainless steel bracket it has proved popular with people needing a reversing camera plus a narrow angled rear view camera.
The camera has a wide 120 degree lens for looking down as you reverse. With IR LEDs it produces a good image at night to guide you. Mounted 7 foot high you should get the full width of the van plus a bit more either side. The driving lens is angled up and is 60 degrees. This narrower angle gives a better perception of distance compared to wider angled cameras.
This version of the camera does not have 8mm disconnect points. It is for use where you cannot get the 8mm joints inside the vehicle as they are not waterproof.
