The 7 inch dash rear view monitor and 600 TVL number plate frame camera is a popular option. The important factor to consider is the frame of the camera has to be on a perfectly flat surface. The camera uses a metal body which we find gives it an excellent seal against water. We find plastic bodied versions of this camera tend to leak fairly quickly. The camera itself has some adjustment up and down to suit. It has a 600 TVL CMOS sensor inside. In our view these modern CMOS sensors give as good an image as the CCD versions which are now going out of production. The 4 high power IR LEDs gives it good night vision. The number plate frame is plastic and the number plate is held in place by springs. The monitor has a 800 x 480 digital colour panel making it a good match to the high resolution of the camera.
