Our CAM222 twin lens reversing camera is effectively two cameras in the same body. This cable has been developed to send the signal from both cameras down a single cable. It overcomes issues of cross channel interference found with poorer quality cables. By having one cable it simplifies feeding cables through a vehicle. It also keeps the number of connections down to improve reliability. We now supply this cable with all our twin lens systems. This listing is for the 5m version. If you need longer we have them available in multiples of 5 metres.
We have these cables made to our specification. The cable diameter is 0.5mm with a pure copper and aluminium foil outer shielding. The inner cores are made from pure copper using 12 strands of 0.12mm bare copper. A lot of cable on the market use copper coated aluminium (CCA) or copper coated steel (CCS) which are more easily damaged and give reduced image quality.
Please note due to the higher frequency needed for AHD camera systems we recommend using 2 separate cables. At the moment AHD reversing cameras are few and far between.
