By visiting this website you agree to have accepted the terms and conditions.

At no time are any credit card details stored by us.

We reserve the right to refuse to sell any goods or to cancel orders where an incorrect pricing has been listed.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. We reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Our terms and conditions apply to both business and non-business customers.

Goods, Pricing and Availability

We make every effort to ensure that the photographs and descriptions on the web site are accurate and up to date.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. Previously supplied quotes will be honoured providing the quote has not expired.

Title to the goods will not pass to the Purchaser until the full price for those goods has been received by Reversing Cameras UK Ltd.

We make every effort to ensure products advertised are in stock. If an item is out of stock, we will give you the option to cancel the order or place it on back order. We reserve the right to discontinue a product at any time.

Delivery

We use Royal Mail or Courier for our deliveries. Customers can also visit our premises to view our products and buy.

We aim to dispatch all orders received by 1.00pm the same working day. We are unable to do this weekends, public holidays or if we are unusually busy.

If a package is sent to you and taken to your local Post Office, it is your responsibility to collect the item before it is returned to us by Royal Mail or by courier. Orders returned to us as uncollected may be re-sent, but you will be responsible for the additional postage fees incurred. If in the circumstances, you would prefer to receive a refund, we will happily refund you, minus the postage fees incurred in the first delivery attempt.

In the event we have multiple orders to the same address we reserve the right to combine them and refund the balance from any overpaid postage.

You have up to 14 days after the dispatch of your order to inform us of any items not received.

If your parcel is lost in the post we will request a search with the courier or Post Office. If it remains lost then a duplicate order will be sent out. The time scale for this will depend on the circumstances.

If you request with Royal Mail or the Courier that your parcel is delivered to a different address then you take responsibility for that parcel.

International Customers Outside of the UK

Please be aware that local customs rules vary and it is your duty to be aware of your own countries VAT and Duty and any other charges. These are not the sellers responsibility and there is a possibility you may incur a charge for importing. The shipping company may ask for an administration fee which would be payable by the buyer and not the seller. If you are worried about the fees please contact us for information about the company we will ship with so you can request information from them prior to ordering. This only applies to customers outside of the UK.

Cancellation and returns

You may withdraw from the sale within four (4) weeks without any justification, as long as you send your cancellation in writing (letter, fax, e-mail) or if you return the goods to us. If you are a professional buyer or freelancer the current statutory provisions for the return of goods shall apply. The time frame for the return of goods begins once you have received the goods. Your cancellation request will be considered to have been submitted on time if your written notification or the goods are sent back within the timeframe mentioned above. Goods returned must be in the original packaging and be in a saleable condition.

Our Address for returning items is:-

Reversingcamerasuk Ltd,
Unit 98, The Oaks Ind Est,
Ramsgate,
Kent,
CT12 5FS, UK

We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product has been modified in any way. If the item is not in its original packaging we reserve the right to deduct 10% from the refund to cover the cost of new packaging.

Faulty goods

All the items we sell are tested before packing so should be working when you receive them. If you do have issues with a product will normally try and solve the problem over email or phone with some guidance. If this does not resolve the matter, we will normally ask for the item back for testing. If we are notified within 28 days of purchase of a potential fault, we will test and if tested faulty will give a replacement and a refund for the postage back to us using our approved service. If notified outside of the 28 days of purchase we will test and replace or repair any fault. Normally this is a replacement as opposed to a repair as we could only repair if it was a basic problem with a wire etc. We wouldn't open up a sealed unit. On any purchase if we suspect the fault may be caused due to incorrect installation damage (customer fault) we may refuse an exchange or return to the factory for testing and/or repair. Thankfully, we don't get many faults so the chances of having something break are low and in most cases where a user has not caused the problem it can be replaced quickly. The standard time we guarantee our products for is 12 months (24 months for premium 12/24v kits), however if there is a problem after this we may be able to offer a discount on replacement, or help you get a repair which may cost a small amount.

Some items like cameras may leave a hole on the vehicle if you take it off to return a suspected faulty item. On these occasions we can by request send a new camera out on a warranty invoice. This is an invoice for the cost of the camera and is cancelled when we get that camera back. The cost of the return postage is your responsibility.

Liability

We are not liable for consequential loss, disappointment or other damage in relation to your order and will not pay compensation over and above the refund for the cost of the goods and/or services. This does not affect your statutory rights under consumer law or any liability we may have for death or personal injury due to our negligence.

If we give advice verbally or via written instructions, it is important you balance that advice from other sources. Any advice we give will be fairly general and as such the liability rests with the person doing the actual fitting for any damage that may occur. Modern vehicles have complex computerised systems and damage to them can be expensive.  Our strongest advice is to leave any electrical work to the professionals.

Account customers

offer trade terms to business customers who apply to open a trade account.

We offer 30 day credit terms on supplying us with suitable references. Where payments are late we reserve the right to charge interest at 8% plus the Bank of England rate and any debt recovery costs.

If an account holder is in arrears we reserve the right to suspend their account.

User comments and feedback

We welcome customers feedback and comments. Any reviews on the web site about a product we reserve the right to remove if it does not relate to an order placed on the site. You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain libellous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website
